Dr. June Irwin talks 'pesticides, health and the Hudson case'

This Tuesday, noted municipal activist and physician Dr. June Irwin, will address issues surrounding pesticide exposure and the health of Canadians, especially Canada's children. The Hudson-based activist will also discuss the challenges of lobbying for change through the political process.
Special attention will be paid to the much anticipated Supreme Court ruling that will decide the fate of a current Hudson, Quebec bylaw prohibiting the use of chemical pesticides on private lands. Hudson was the first municipality in Canada to ban the cosmetic use of
pesticides.
